Flourish Art Materials was born out of our passion for art and our desire to provide the best tools for artists. Located in the heart of Lancashire, our small workshop is where we pour our love for art into crafting exceptional equipment, especially for oil painters. Our products are designed to cater to both beginners and experts, ensuring that every artist can unleash their creativity with the finest mahl sticks available.

I designed and made my first carbon fibre Mahl Stick around 6 years ago when I developed tendonitis in my left arm after holding a heavy aluminium Mahl Stick fro unto 8 hours a day in the studio. The new carbon fibre Mahl Stick prevented my recurring injury straight away as it was so light. 

Now my wife and I, helped by our 2 adult children, design, make and wrap our super-light mahl sticks right across the world.
